AWARDS

 

34 Lovers Film Festival – Torino LGBTQI Visions is divided into 4 competitive sections (International Feature Film Competition, International Documentary Competition, International Iconoclastic Competition and International Short Film Competition) with other awards: Premio del pubblico, Premio Giò Stajano and Young Lovers Jury award.

 

INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILM COMPETITION

The International Feature Film Competition  Jury, composed of Iaia Forte, Laura Bispuri e Neri Marcorè, will assign the Ottavio Mai Prize to the best feature film for a total of 1000 €, and the special mention (when it deems appropriate).

 

INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION

The International Documentary Jury, composed of Bartholomew Sammut, Hamilton Santià e Luca Paladini, will assign the award to the best documentary. The Prize is offered by UCCA APS and ARCI, for a total of 500 €, and an offer of distribution in Italy, in partnership with UCCA APS– Unione Circoli Cinematografici ARCI ed ARCI (only if the concerned parties come to an agreement).

 

INTERNATIONAL ICONOCLASTIC COMPETITION

In collaboration with Artissima and Centre d'Art Contemporain of Geneva Ginevra, the International Iconoclastic Jury, composed of Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Leonardo Caffo e Luca Pacilio, will assign the Prize consisting of the promotion of the winning film during Artissima fair in next November and the screning of the film at the Centre d'Art Contemporain in Ginevra.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION

The International Short Film Jury, composed of DAMS students – Allasia Giulia, Isaia Ottavia, Lorenzon Gaia, Malaspina Alice, Rossi Elena - coordinated by Massimiliano Quirico, will assign the Prize Fotogrammi Sovversivi to the best short film offered by Sicurezza e Lavoro, for a total of 300€.

 

PREMIO DEL PUBBLICO – AUDIENCE AWARD

In collaboration with MYMovies.it, this award could be assigned to International Feature Film, International Documentay and Iconoclastic Competition winner: an ad hoc production by an internationally well-known artist.

 

PREMIO GIÒ STAJANO – GIÒ STAJANO AWARD

The festival, considering the idea of the writer Willy Vaira and of Claudio Carossa, dedicates a special tribute to the memory of Giò Stajano, one of the most outstanding personalities for the Italian LGBTQI culture, who hasn't been given the right importance for too much time. The 500€ - Prize will be assigned to a film chosen by the festival selection committee and Willy Vaira among all the films presented in the festival.

 

YOUNG LOVERS JURY

The Young Lovers jury, presided by Walter Revello, president of Babi, it is composed of five students between the age of 18 and 21 and they will give the award to the winner of the International Feature Films Contest.
