Tom meets Simon, a Cameroon refugee, thanks to a dating app. Their relationship is short and intense: they learn to know each other, they share hope for a better, happier life, and they both hope for love. However, Tom realizes that their relationship has had a great impact on his own life and he is forced to make a very difficult choice.

Guido Verelst

Biofilmography

Guido Verelst studied French literature at the University of Antwerp, theatre and film at the University of Strasbourg and directing at the Institut Supérieur des Arts in Brussels. Since 2000 he has been working as a freelance director, editor, and producer under the name Deep Focus. He works on fictional short films, music videos and TV commercials. Among other short films, he made Hadewijch (1997) and Skai Blue (2017), which won an award at LesGaiCineMad Festival.
