Thelma is a shy 20 years old girl from the countryside. She moves to Oslo to study, she falls in love with another girl and she notices that she has disturbing supernatural powers. Joachim Trier signs a great impact auteur thriller which combines realism and horror tension, psychological drama and eroticism, while the subject of the genre is present in the whole film with different nuances.
