Adam goes visiting his sister Casey in New York during summer holidays and, out of the blue, he finds himself catapulted in his sister's circle of LGBTQ activist friends. There he falls in love with Gillian, a young lesbian girl. Due to a series of misunderstandings, Gillian thinks Adam is an f to m guy on hormone therapy and Adam, in order not to deny it, will complicate the whole course of the story. A coming of age that overturns stereotypes with great irony, Adam is directed by Rhys Ernst producer of Transparent.
