The Australian television reporter Eammon Ashton-Atkison moves to the United Kingdom to document the experience of the Steelers: the only gay English rugby team. Three are the main characters in this captivating narration: a lesbian coach who fights against misogyny on and off the field, a semi-professional rugby player who fell into depression after his coming out and Drew, drag queen by night and rugby player by day.

Eammon Ashton-Atkinson

Eammon Ashton-Atkinson, director and cinematographer, is an Australian news reporter living in New York and working as a foreign correspondent for Network 10, one of Australia's largest television networks. Previously, he was the Europe Correspondent based in London. In 2016, he moved to London where he met his future husband John and joined the King's Cross Steelers, the subject of his debut feature length documentary Steelers: The World's First Gay Rugby Club (2020).
