Michael, a “New York Times” journalist, who recently faced a personal tragedy, is in Tel Aviv for professional tasks which he hopes to carry out quickly. When he sublets the apartment of a young cinema student, Tomer, he finds himself involved in the city life. Michael and Tomer begin an unlikely and intense relationship which will change their lives. Eytan Fox, born in New York city and raised in Israel, previously at the Lovers Film Festival with The Bubble, Yossi and Cupcakes, analyses the various aspects of his identity narrating the relationship between two different and apparently distant men.

Eytan Fox

Eytan Fox was born in New York and raised in Jerusalem. After graduating from the Tel Aviv University’s School of Cinema, he directed multiple feature films among which there are Yossi & Yagger (2002), Walk on Water (2004), The Bubble (2006), Yossi (2012), Cupcakes (2013), which were presented at the Lovers Film Festival multiple times (winning the 2003 audience award with Yossi & Yagger). Being an internationally acclaimed director, he won about thirty international awards and was also nominated for a César award for Best foreign picture with his film Walk on Water in 2007.
