Seattle, five friends have little time to save their high school gay club from closing: by order of the principal they must diversify it by "recruiting" hetero students. There's Quinn, the tough but tender leader; Sarai, the lovely lesbian best friend; Zel, the voice of reason; Mickey and Cohen, all flair, stoicism and communist manifesto. To achieve this quixotic goal of gaywashing, everyone becomes the "gay best friend" of selected peers as they go through the ups and downs of being a queer teenager. A TV series written and directed with energy and intelligent lightness by two 19-year-old teens.
