The silhouette of a cowboy appears on a sunburned horizon. Dusty jeans, cowboy hat and a backpack on one shoulder. Casey, a country boy on the run from a small town, he is heading for the great temptress, Sydney. He looks for a spot to crash. His Grindr chirps a message alert and so meets Tib, a young city lad. both boys will find something they were unconsciously looking for, but neither of them will quite know how to play and handle. Lonesome explores casual sexuality, affection, loneliness and isolation in a world that never was more connected.

Craig Boreham
Craig Boreham is an award-winning Sydney based writer and director. A graduate of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). Craig's debut feature film Teenage Kicks (2016) premiered at the Sydney Film Festival in 2016 to critical acclaim. It was nominated for Best Direction in a feature film at the Australian Directors Guild Awards.
