LOVERS CELEBRATION

SHORTBUS 4K

by John Cameron Mitchell
Country: USA
Year: 2006
Duration: 101'

An emotional exploration of the comic and tragic intersections between love
and sex, in and around a peculiarly different joint. A sex therapist who has
never had an orgasm, a lonely dominatrix, a gay couple undecided whether to open their relationship or not, and many others, converge in a weekly meeting called Shortbus: a crazy nexus of art, music, politics and polysexual carnality. A modern masterpiece of sensual freedom and frankness, which candidly suggests new solutions for the doubts of the mind, the pleasures of the flesh and the imperatives of the heart.

A 4K restoration.
