Fariba Haidari

Fariba Haidari was born in Afghanistan and moved to Iran as a child. Here she studied nursing, and, at the same time, she followed filmmaking courses. Back in Afghanistan, she had to leave the country again because of the death threats received from a group of Islamic extremists, as a consequence of directing a film about the most important Afghan women in history. She has been living in Sweden since 2012.
