In a refuge for struggling girls, Milo is secretly transitioning. Nicki, a care worker, is the only one who knows, and the only one who supports them through the difficulties of the process. But when Milo hears something they shouldn’t have, Nicki’s care is no longer enough….

Amalie Maria Nielsen

Amalie Maria Nielsen (they/she) grew up on the Danish Island of Funen. Later, they moved to Copenhagen, where they live now. They graduated from the 18Frames film school last year. They directed the short films Amatør (2021), Shift (2022), which was featured at the last Berlin International Film Festival, and Never Say No (2022). These films address topics such as sexuality and intimacy.
