Duration: 90'

A story told about Guy Bennett, who left the UK to become a KGB spy. Raised in the 30’s following the rigidly formal values of the British upper middle class, he was oppressed by its hypocrisies and prejudices. Labelled as different for being homosexual, he was expelled from the prestigious college he attended and was ostracized by his own family. This led to his irreversible decision to turn to the Soviets and against his own country, which had rejected him. Based on a true story and awarded a prize at the Cannes Festival in 1984, this movie features a brilliant performance by Rupert Everett in the leading role.
