Sam Shahid

Sam Shahid has had a great influence on the advertising and fashion worlds. He was the creative director for the Calvin Klein advertising campaigns in the early 1980s, helping to expand the brand internationally. Sam covered the same position for Banana Republic in the 1990s and then founded the Shahid & Company advertising agency in 1993. He cooperated with Bruce Weber on the documentaries Broken Noses (1987) and Let's Get Lost (1988) and directed Hidden Master: The Legacy of George Platt Lynes (2023).
