Alkis Papastathopoulos
Alkis Papastathopoulos is a Greek, non-binary movie director. They have studied Cinema at the Thessaloniki Aristotle University. They made their debut with the short film En Pojke (2014). Their videoclip Gomenaki (2018) received an award at the Indie Memphis Film Festival. In the same year, they won the HBO Europe Award thanks to “Sleepover”, a project that was later selected by the New Voices Lab, connected to the Sundance FF. The latest works they have filmed are the short films Hyped (2019), One day We Will Dance with you (2021), and Honeymoon (2023).
