Since the 1970s, lesbians from all over the world have ventured to the island of Lesvos in search of the poetess Sappho. Since then, the small village of Eressos has become the destination for unforgettable summers of love and radical separatism. This woman director, originally from the village, recounts the utopian experience through archive photos and videos, while showing its sometimes conflictual impact on the local people. A hymn to a time that was crucial for lesbian history, a love letter to a vibrant community and a reflection on the meaning of inclusion.
