Matteo and Riccardo are a close-knit couple who are about to celebrate six months of their relationship. This romantic moment is interrupted by tragic news: Matteo finds out he is HIV positive. From this moment on everything changes: Matteo, depressed and disoriented, shuts himself off from the outside world and from his partner; whereas Riccardo, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty, refuses to find out his own HIV status. Matteo’s uncle, Enzo, will help the couple to overcome their fears, in order to help himself to accept the ghosts of his own past, which he has never really faced up to.
