THE MATTACHINE FAMILY

by Andy Vallentine
Country: USA
Year: 2023
Duration: 99'

A series of unexpected events triggers a crisis for Thomas and Oscar: their foster child has rejoined his biological mother and, at the same time, Oscar’s acting career seems to be finally taking off, keeping him away from home for long periods of time. They very soon realize that their personal ideas of what a family should be clash. Thomas has no choice but to try to figure out what he wants from life and what it means to be gay in a world that’s full of opportunities for those who grew up thinking that they would never be able to get married and have kids. Starring Nico Tortorella and Heather Matarazzo.
