ÚSVIT

Czechoslovakia, 1937. Helena, the wife of an important engineer, is about to give birth and has a bright future ahead of her: the couple live in a futuristic place, a newly founded city surrounded by countryside. Her dreams and illusions falter when the corpse of an intersex baby emerges from a mound of earth, on a building site. Helena wants to, or rather must, find out what really happened, for the safety of her unborn child. An unexpected and tortuous path, which will bring her into conflict with her own prejudices and lead her to discover a different reality from the one she had foreseen.
