Joe is an investigative journalist who returns to his hometown to investigate the mysterious deaths of 8 gay men, who died in the local psychiatric hospital. He ends up becoming obsessed with this. When some locals die of what may seem natural causes, Joe and his new partner Luke (Brian J. Smith from Sense8) search for answers to a complex web of questions which are somehow linked to death of Joe's sister as a child. This is a lush, darkly sexy portrayal of the protagonist's search for solutions to his troubled past. From the director of Cicada, which competed at Lovers 2021.
