Darcy invites all of her long-standing girlfriends to her lakeside chalet to celebrate her divorce. Many things have changed: someone is now in a couple and pregnant, someone else shows up with a new girlfriend, who is attractive and very young … However, as is often the case with reunions, the old dynamics of attraction, complicity or rivalry remain unchanged. And everything becomes more complicated when charming Dax, who has always been in love with Darcy, reappears, riding her motorcycle. A brilliant, yet heart wrenching comedy, turning a girls’ weekend into an emotional showdown.

Tara Thorne
Tara Thorne (she/her) is a journalist and director from Halifax, Canada. She was a staff member of the weekly magazine “The Coast” for 19 years and from 2020 to 2022 she hosted The Tideline, a podcast about Nova Scotia's arts and cultural scene. Her first film, Compulsus (2022), was screened at many international LGBTQI+ film festivals, such as Inside Out, Fantasia, Sunny Bunny, Mardi Grass, and the Popcorn Frights, and was later released in Canadian cinemas by Vortex Media.
