With the help of artist Armin Dallapiccola, his on-screen alter-ego, he takes us back on a provocative, rollicking journey that, through his memories, explores the themes of fame, family, sexuality, art and faith. In a vortex of encounters, sex, and conflict, we meet seductive, enthusiastic fans, and a mother who never learns how to deal with her unusual son. The film won the award for best documentary at the 2025 Teddy Awards.

Rosa von Praunheim

Rosa von Praunheim (1942) is a German director and symbol of gay cinema tackling issues rise to heated debates, like AIDS, that gave the rise of the gay movements in Germany and the USA, politics, sex and homosexual activism. His most famous films include the documentaries It's not the Homosexual Who's Perverse, but the Situation in Which He Lives (1971), Survival In New York (1989), I Am My Own Woman (1992), Neurosia (1995), The Einstein of Sex (1999) e Männer, Helden, schwule Nazis (2005).
