Perfectly restored to its original, vibrant colors, Dressed In Blue is a masterpiece in which crude realism meets the most dazzling high camp. Six transgender women in post-Franco Spain give an authentic and unfiltered account of their daily lives: filled with repression, prostitution, hormones, surgeries, rivalry, family, and love. A crucial film from queer cinema in Spain, it paved the way for Almodóvar and was the basis for the spin-off TV show Veneno.
