Country: France
Year: 1996
Duration: 85'
Four young men living in the fast lane in the French countryside, who choose to live and love even amidst the racism and homophobia of their oppressive local community. Quentin, a promising nineteen-year-old writer, is the catalyst and the center of the passions of this group of French “rebels without a cause”. Morel has previously worked as a screenwriter and actor for director André Techiné, as well as being his muse. At the age of 25 he has now made his directorial debut paying tribute to the legend of James Dean. Crafting a coming-of-age story dominated by the wildest passions, which turn into a desire and a search for freedom.
