After a successful premiere night, Anna comes home alone. At first, everything seems fine, but her evening takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that her freezer is completely frozen. As she attempts to defrost it, various everyday issues begin to pile up, prompting her to confront herself. With a light and humorous touch, Anna’s Freezer delves into the more intimate layers of her character, exploring themes such as the contrast between loneliness and the desire for genuine connection.

Jetske Lieber
Born in the Netherlands in 1999, Jetske Lieber (they/them) live in Amsterdam, where they work as directors and screenwriters. Their Netherlands Film Academy graduation film, January (2024), premiered at the Poitiers Film Festival and was selected at other film festivals, including the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Their latest film, Anna's Freezer (2025), was released in fall 2025.
