Three trans women, after years of sex work, begin working in a nursing home in the province of Buenos Aires. They serve meals, make beds, paint residents' nails, and learn to give injections. During breaks, they discuss what they’ve found—or what is missing—in this new "respectable" life. With rare sensitivity, this observational film focuses on the relationships between caregivers and patients, showing how these encounters foster mutual enrichment. For the elderly, the bond with the new staff means questioning lazy habits before they harden into prejudice. For Luciana, Maia, and Yenifer, it means imagining a stage of life they never thought they’d reach, as life expectancy for trans people in Argentina remains under forty. A precious documentary suggesting a revolutionary idea: aging as opportunity.
