At night, Sambor goes to the park, where groups of skaters challenge one another and forge friendships. In a gloomy Poland, within a male‑dominated environment that is at times open‑minded and at times macho, the protagonist wants to live his new life without having to explain his gender transition, fearing both rejection and stigma. The story of a new bond formed through a shared passion casts a light into the darkness: words aren’t needed for a long‑lasting friendship.

Dominik Hadziewicz
Dominik Hadziewicz is a young film director, screenwriter, and actor from Poland, born in Olsztyn in 2002. He studied Film Directing at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. His short film Dickflip (2025) was screened at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Furthermore, Hadziewicz is actively involved in initiatives supporting people struggling with addiction.
