Skander is an eleven‑year‑old, withdrawn, and quiet boy. When his younger sister’s babysitter takes them to the local swimming pool, he drifts on the margins, uninterested in learning to dive and struggling to connect with the other children. His bond with his parents feels distant, and he feels little sense of belonging to the town around him. Yet something unexpected unsettles him, stirring a strange, unfamiliar feeling. Skander must now understand this feeling and make it his own. A gentle portrayal of early awakenings of desire and the natural process of self‑discovery that shapes who we become.
