Duration: 100'

– “I don’t want to fall in love.”
– “Neither do I.”
Iván, a trans man, and Hadoum, a Moroccan‑born naturalised Spanish woman, work together in an industrial greenhouse in southern Spain. Their bond soon evolves beyond friendship, leading them to defy the expectations of their families and co‑workers. A contemporary Romeo and Juliet, yet more than a love story, the film traces Iván’s journey toward self‑awareness. Gradually, he comes to understand that he doesn’t need to conform to his family’s expectations in order to survive or be loved. Awarded Best Feature Film at the 2026 Teddy Awards,
Iván & Hadoum explores how identity, politics, and love can coexist on screen. Ultimately, it conveys a message of hope: a vision of a world in which everyone is free to love and be loved without the burden of social prejudice.
