New York State, early 90s. For Lucas, a promising young police officer, his undercover assignment represents a major career opportunity: working under a false identity, he frequents the local cruising grounds, waiting to be approached so he can then lure men in and arrest them for indecent conduct. Something inside him changes when he meets Andrew, a mature Protestant pastor. As his feelings grow too powerful to be kept hidden from himself and the world, he finds himself trapped in a painful dilemma that seems impossible to solve. The film was met with great success at festivals around the world, winning awards and honours at Sundance (Best Cast) and Frameline (Best First Feature), among others.
