SENSUALITA' A CORTE - IL FILM

by Marcello Cesena
Country: Italy
Year: 2026
Duration: 80'

Lovers FF is proud to present the “cinematic” version of the comedy series created and directed by Marcello Cesena. Set in a totally fictional 1794 Paris—complete with smartphones, social media, and even Dua Lipa—the story follows Jean‑Claude (Marcello Cesena), a young gay baronet locked in eternal conflict with “Mother” (Simona Garbarino), the meanest mother ever seen on TV. And as in any courtly tale, the ever‑present air of intrigue hovers amid wigs, crinolines, and irresistible comic running gags. Originally launched in 2005 within Gialappa’s Band’s “Mai Dire…”, the show is currently a highlight of “Gialappashow” on TV8 and Sky Uno. Now a cult phenomenon, this unique format anticipated queer themes and early conversations around gender fluidity.
