SHIVA BABY
Country: USA
Year: 2020
Duration: 77'

During a funeral reception, several aspects of Danielle’s private and family life collide in the most unexpected ways: among the guests – besides the usual annoying relatives – Danielle finds herself face‑to‑face with Maya, with whom she had a relationship, and Max, her sugar daddy, who is there with his wife and child. What is she supposed to do now? Seligman’s breakout comedy, which launched Rachel Sennott, is built on an ingenious and flawless narrative mechanism, blending Woody Allen–style humor with impeccably timed twists.
