Based on Dean Atta’s poem of the same name, this stop-motion short film tells the story of two boys who create their own paradise. The weight of racism and homophobia, however, invades this space, casting them back into the real world, filled with fear, exclusion, and shame. The lyricism of the poetry blends with a hypnotic rhythm: the music, combining a warm piano with ambient sounds, and the pastel-toned images create a delicate atmosphere. A journey that challenges stereotypes and expands into a universal vision.
