Riflessi nel buio Award – 36° Lovers Film Festival

The Lovers Film Festival, in occasion of the 36ª edition, has created, under the Patronage of the Ministero degli Affari Esteri, the Riflessi nel buio, dedicated to directors of LGBTQI+ films who work or have worked in a country at high risk of discrimination, or – in the worst cases – imprisonment, torture, or death. The aim of the award is to give a strong cultural signal, concretely supporting, with a cash contribution, an activity, film production, which in Italy and in the other countries participating in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is absolute routine, and has, among other things, contributed to awakening consciences and developing new sensibilities, but which in other parts of the world may instead pose a serious risk to personal safety.

The documentary from Bosnia Let There Be Colour will be awarded.

Will attend the event: Fabrizio Petri from Ministro Plenipotenziario del Ministero degli Affari Esteri e Cooperazione Internazionale, Luca Poma, professor of Communication Sciences, Arber Kodra – Queer Film Days Albania, Fabrizio Fassio – Polychromes (Nice), the screen writer Chiara Cruciatti and, connected on Zoom, the director Ado Hasanović.

Free entry until places are unavailable. For more information click here.
