{"id":2631,"date":"2022-03-30T12:11:34","date_gmt":"2022-03-30T10:11:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.loversff.com\/?p=2631"},"modified":"2022-03-30T12:23:46","modified_gmt":"2022-03-30T10:23:46","slug":"37th-edition-of-lovers-film-festival-coniglioviola-for-the-lovers-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.loversff.com\/en\/37th-edition-of-lovers-film-festival-coniglioviola-for-the-lovers-film-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"37th edition of Lovers Film Festival &#8211; ConiglioViola for the Lovers Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row type_default valign_top\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>The Lovers Film Festival<\/strong>, the oldest festival dedicated to LGBTQI+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and intersexual) topics, <strong>will be held from April 26 to May 1, 2022\u00a0<\/strong>at the Cinema Massimo, the multiplex of the <strong>National Cinema Museum\u00a0<\/strong>in Turin.<\/p>\n<p>The festival, directed by <strong>Vladimir Luxuria\u00a0<\/strong>and founded by <strong>Giovanni Minerba <\/strong>and<strong> Ottavio Mai<\/strong>, will last 6 days and has returned to its historical time frame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ConiglioViola\u00a0<\/strong>has created the 2022 image.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The image of the 37th Lovers Film Festival is a celebration of major icons of LGBTQI+ films, from Marlene Dietrich to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, from <\/em>The Night Porter\u00a0<em>to <\/em>Querelle<em>, passing by way of \u00a0<\/em>Brokeback Mountain\u00a0<em>and \u00a0<\/em>Priscilla<em>. I am infinitely grateful to ConiglioViola for their graphic re-elaboration; I consider them some of the most interesting, surprising, and creative minds on the international artistic scene. Our Festival will be equally iconic, colorful, and thrilling<\/em>\u201d, commented the director, <strong>Vladimir Luxuria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Working in close contact with the director Vladimir Luxuria has let us reflect on and give voice and form to some of the pop icons that have always inspired our artistic pathway<\/em>,\u201d noted <strong>ConiglioViola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The films and the competitive sections<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over <strong>60 movies<\/strong>\u2013 feature films, documentaries, and shorts \u2013 from <strong>all over the world<\/strong>, including <strong>50 in competition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>3 competitive sections: <strong>All The Lovers<\/strong>, international feature film competition; <strong>Real Lovers<\/strong>, international documentary competition; and <strong>Future Lovers<\/strong>, international short film competition.<\/p>\n<p>A jury composed of young students will assign the <strong>Young Lovers\u00a0<\/strong>award, selecting a movie competing in the International Feature Film Competition.
