The Lovers Film Festival closes this 40th edition with a final day of applause and celebration.
The afternoon concluded the tribute to Gregg Araki with the cult screening of Nowhere, introduced by the iconic James Duval. The closing night was an explosion of emotions and colors: conducting the awarding of the winning films, along with Artistic Director Vladimir Luxuria and Angelo Acerbi, were Diego Passoni, La Diamond and Rita Rusic, joined by Karam Aouini and Daniela Sala for an in-depth look at the commitment of queer activists in the Mediterranean. Concluding this unforgettable edition was the screening of Andrew Ahn’s The Wedding Banquet.
